Angela Niestemski, Founder & Executive Director
Angela Niestemski is the Founder and Executive Director of Torn Veil Ministries. Angela served as a staff chaplain and Manager of Baylor Scott & White Medical Center–Grapevine part of the Baylor Scott and White Health System. Along with her duties as chaplain, she serves as a member the hospital’s ethics committee and also serves on the Baylor Clinical Pastoral Education Advisory Committee. Angela received three President Service Excellence Awards and The CEO Service Excellence Award while she served at Baylor-Dallas.
Before Angela entered chaplaincy in 2007, she taught ages three-eighteen for thirteen years in both public and private schools. She taught English, Theatre, Speech, and Bible as well as authoring a high school Worldview Bible Curriculum. She directed UIL One Act Play for seven years with two plays that advanced to the state level in both 3A and 5A schools.
Angela spent two years in Missoula, Montana where she joined a church planting team with the American Baptists and served as the Children/Women/Fine Arts Pastor. Angela spent three summers traveling 38 states with two colleagues from seminary working on a documentary, Looking for God in America.
Angela is an ordained Full Gospel Minister, an endorsed chaplain with Chaplaincy of Full Gospel Churches and is board certified through the Association of Professional Chaplains. Angela attended Texas Tech University and graduated from Texas Woman’s University with a BS in Drama. She received her teaching certificate from West Texas A&M and received a Masters in Biblical Studies from Dallas Theological Seminary. Angela is married to Thaddeus Niestemski and enjoys ministering with her husband, mentoring women, cooking and gardening. –
